driving licence update

maybe the mods need to add a new section for off topic news.

Ive just been advised to check my UK driving licence, the photo card one.
on the front there is the main mug shot and a smaller one along side,
above the smaller one is a line with..
4a... this is the date the licence was issued.
4b... this is the date YOU must apply by for a new licence with an updated picture.

you may well have missed this if you didnt read the little book you were sent with the licence.
but its going to cost you £17.50 for a new licence if yours is due..
Failure to replace with a new one risks getting pulled by the law and a fine of £1000.

I know its off topic but you could enter a few races with £1000!!!

i thought it was a sidecar site, anyway , if its gossip, type it.
still got old style licence, runs out on 70 bithday. so no worrys.

Not long to go then well over half way..........
