Re: Marks Tey 07 NOV
Hi Mate,
I believe that we will be there (112 Chris and Dave Tye)... Track is a flat field with man made jumps which are linked in various combinations depending on who lays the track out. Overall they do a good job with the options available and it can make for some fun racing. It is always pretty wide with room to pass... Also well drained so normally paddock etc are in a reasonable state, track can get gooey at this time of year, but where doesn't?
Cheers
Dave

Re: Marks Tey 07 NOV
Marks Tey is located off the A12 (Junction 28 from the M25).
From London you follow the A12 towards Colchester.
Travel past Chelmsford and Kelvedon exits
Take the exit for Marks Tey ( signed Stanstead Airport, A120 as well).
Go around the roundabout and on to the Dual Carriage Way bridge over the A12
At next Roundabout get back on the A12 towards London
After a mile approx take the turning on the left signed "Easthorpe" - This is very sharp with a very short slip road
A quarter of a mile down this road on the left hand side is a Farm Field entrance with concrete hard standing, this is the paddock entry. (Sign on gate says "Colchester Model Car Club".
From Ipswich
Take the turning on the left signed "Easthorpe" (after Marks Tey A120 turning) - This is very sharp with a very short slip road
A quarter of a mile down this road on the left hand side is a Farm Field entrance with concrete hard standing, this is the paddock entry. (Sign on gate says "Colchester Model Car Club".
Sounds like quite a line up, hope to see you all there. :-)
Cheers
