Narberth Classic International CANCELLED.

Regrettably Narberth CMCC have had to cancel their event at West Atheston on 14th Oct 2012 due to a pathetic (mainly solo) entry and the forecast promising even more rain on Sunday
If riders continue to leave entering until the day clubs will eventually cancel more and more events. We had laid on a Barbie , a Bar and a Band to make the event enjoyable to riders and their families, cancelling has cost us money and disheartened those of us who are trying to improve things. Coming from an A.C.U. & F.I.M. background I can`t believe how casually the AMCA and riders treat organising clubs. I`m pissed off !

John, sorry to hear about the cancellation and I have sympathy for you and your hard working friends. But whats happened this year all we hear about is cancellations for weather and other pathetic reasons. This sport we are all involved with is supposed to be an all weather activity so lets get out there and get wet and dirty !!

With respect Peter that is easy for you to say.
Most classic and twinshock tracks are run on grazing farmland, or the pits are sited on them at least.
Cows cant eat mud, and the damage can take years to sort out, at least by cancelling the track may stay in the long term.
Thats without the thousands, literallly, some of the bikes have had spent on them.
I for one wouldn't get mine out to ride in a shithole.

I think owning a EML is like owning a dog with four legs and still carrying it everywhere.

Its just for show not for riding.
