Get all the Rotax entries to put a tenner each up, and they can buy themselves a 'pre 85 but not really' class winners trophy.

Re: Farleigh.......
RIGHT. i HAVE GOT THE RULE WRONG. YES ME GETTING SOMETHING WRONG.
RULES ARE THE FRAME MUST BE OF WASP OR EML REPLICA PRE 84. TWO REAR SHOCKS. FOURSTROKE ENGINE. ROTAX ENGINES ARE ALLOWED.
have spoken to Andy Carter and it would appear there are a few that will not be entitled to score any points. charlie Chivers (wolff frame) mark Kinge (KHR frame) paul Harker (mono shock) Gary Wolff (wolff frame) and maybe Chris walker (modified EML).
hope this clears up things.

Re: Farleigh.......
This is getting silly.
Should have sorted it years ago when I suggested it. Nobody gave a shit then, now the stable door has been bolted so late the horse has been boiled to make glue.
I have a sand rail on my EML, so that's been modified then...
Kingeys bike is new, but the exact dimensions of an EML. The measurements were copied from Perry Millars. The issue is the fecking Rotax.
Virtually every bike has been modified in some way, just score single cylinder air cooled in one class, and multi cylinder air cooled in another.
I'm off to Genk....

I smell a Rat.....
problems problems . i must be one of the bigest bellends i got rid of a twin cylinder and put a silly single in. what a twat. with all this unrest and me being a major figure in the twinshock scene, i must lead by example and will remove my single cylinder lawnmower engine , scrap it and replace it with a proper engine forthwith.
This will be the begining of the future and i will be part of it. come on all you single cylinder boys, bemove and scrap before you kill the sport.
When we have rid all the little engines, we will set about baning all them iligal brake calipers. shocks, carbs, sand rails, naughty frames,
Long live the sport.

Re: Farleigh.......
Bit harsh to blame the Rotax engine for killing the sport. I would suggest the cost of the sport and having a few big meetings on the same day the more likely reason

I assume the sport you are referering to is pre 85 sidecarcross. You know, the one that is supposed to use pre 85 engine types. Of which the Rotax isn't. But no Rotaxes aren't killing it, because it isn't dieing..

Re: Farleigh.......
I would imagine you meant to say pre 85 outfits with pre 85 brakes, suspension and not just the engine. Too many people getting hung up on the Rotax engine while conveniently running modern equipment solely designed to make them go quicker!

Its all getting ridiculous!!!
If i may give my 2 bobs worth again, all this bollox about Gary Wolffe, Charlie Chivers, Mark Kinge etc not scoring points at Farleigh because of their frames is totally absurd. If they were good enough to score points last year then why not this year? If there was 40 plus outfits trying to enter this and other meetings then you have an opportunity to be critical, but in my oppinion it would still be wrong. The Wolffe frames are close to BSU geometry, but a BSU is only a copy of an EML anyway and i have measured Gary's frame and its within a gnats cock of Perry Millers standard Yam EML. Why all of a sudden are these frames not eligable? I have measured Mark Kinges frame and it is the same as Perry's EML, and i think Kevin Hollister has made a wonderful job in designing it to look like a Wasp. As its the same geometry as an EML, if Kevin had made it to look like one would people be cribbing about it? There was a few snide remarks made about it in Kleinhau, but i for one have no objections to this frame, or any of the others, and in Kleinhau the better man won.If Mark had finished mid pack would people be concerned about his bike as much as they are? And as for Chris Walkers bike being modified, isn't everyones in some form or another. What is going to happen to Michael and Sue Mead then if they return on their mighty home built Godden outfit!!!? It would be nice if the main concern of pre 85 sidecar cross was twinshock twins, that way we would all be on an even keel, and I understand there are lots of fores and against in having a frame built, but in this minority sport shouldn't we be encouraging people to come and join us and not condemning those that do try. Regards to all.

Re: Farleigh.......
Why do these meetings clash. have already decidec to watch Genk GP.
But good luck to all at the castle this weekend. Shame the sport is coming to this. banning a chassic . for what reason.
Have heard rumour that the Carters are making up the rules to give them the edge. If they ban enough crews, they stand a chance of winning something.
How can you ban a non period chassis and allow a non period engine.
Perhaps i`ve made the right choice going to Genk afterall.
See you all at Mortimer .

That’s the first thing you've said I agree with,,, I don’t see why people have so much trouble understanding the structure of the class,, its "pre 85" for F=@5s sake, what part of "pre 85" is so hard to grasp.
But before anyone starts slagging folk off for trying to help the sport out, get you lazy cheating arses along there and do a bit of organizing yourselves,, far too easy to sling shite while hiding behind an anonymous avatar.
