Belleme 2011 Results.

Fours brit crews made the trip plus one expat living in France.
Arrived fri evening, Weather was great. Sat morning walked the track, Perfect , big hills , something like 17 jumps per lap, propper sidecar track.
walked up the town (5 min walk). Signed on plus scrut 5-00 ish. About 6-00 everyone went down to track (solo and sidecar) for the parrade around the streets of Belleme. All the roads were clossed off to the public and off we went. (four up) on the outfit. All the town were out to see. Then it was all stop in this large courtyard to have drinks with the local officals of the club and town. Then it was off again around more streets and finally back to the pits at about 8-00. (great fun, wessy was abit warm)
That night the heavens opened, Thunder and lightning. and rain rain and rain.
Sun morning dry, and hot.
First practice for chairs 9-50. The track was somewhat wet in places but being very sandy, soon dried. But the Two big hill proved to be a problem for most.
At the end of practice there was only 6 outfits still going. (5 brits and 1 French) the rest stuck on the hills.
The weather was spot on , about 33 plus and the track soon dried out.

Race 1. Holeshot by Mallows/Dunley followed by Cole/Sid, then a mistake by Mallows saw Cole take the lead. followed by Kimble/Brinsden. Cole led for a futher 4 laps before Mallows came past. Kimble pulled off with a broken oil cooler giving 3rd place to morris/Snell. Then with 2 laps to go the race was red flaged due to a bad crash on the hill.
Result. 1st. Mallows/Dunkley. 2nd. Cole/Mullens. 3rd. Morris/Snell. 4th. Joel Lebrene/Herve Allier. 5th. Vincent Debrey/Thomas Pelletier. 6th. Sophie Dubosq/Mathieu dubasq. 7th. Joel Rodhes/Didier Beneteau. 8th. Fred Perrin/Florian Pino. 9th. Herve Breand/Jacques Legrand. 10th. Pierre Sacchettini/Germain sacchettini. Ivan walker/Glen restrick finished 17th. Kimble/brinsden DNF.

Race 2. Holeshot again by Mallows/Dunkley, with Morris right behind and then Cole.
Result. 1st. Mallows. 2nd. Morris. 3rd. Francois Gaillard/Eric morgan. 4th. Perrin. 5th. Cole. 6th. Lebrene. 7th. Breand. 8th. kimble. 9th. Walker. 10th. Rodhes.
Race 3. holeshot Mallows followed by morris, kimble and cole.

After a few problems with the first race results it was a well run meeting, very friendy, very large crowd, Track did cut up abit but was still great to ride, very hot showers, flush Toilets at the track. Great party sunday night. Big thanks to gail, Julie and Sandra for looking after us all. Then it rained all the way home monday.
Just hope the Brits get invited back next year.
