Belleme France. 21st. August
Race of Bellême 21 August 2011
The year past the motorcycle club of Bellême organized former sidecar racing
For laid-off former side-caristes UFOLEP club had offered the licence the day participants.
This year the club organises again a race of former sides but the crews must pay their licence to the day is €36 per person €72 for a crew to this must be added the undertaking price is €25 which makes a total of €97 to a race.
We also asked a cheque deposit of €200 for a transponder while for the same test asked national category A and B only €30.
The Easter weekend was Granay held a friendly meeting of sides forklift drivers. The subject has been addressed, after deliberation and vote of the participants run Bellême, but the conditions of the past year only.
Our request was sent to Thierry RADIGUET, to date we expect the response of the motorcycle club of Belleme.
As soon as I have news I made you sign.

Re: Belleme France. 21st. August
Full line up. 33 sidecars now booked in. there is now a waiting list. which will be told if they have an entry after 15th august. so if you have not got your entry in. think its to late.
Re: Belleme France. 21st. August
Dont give up yet guys,, send entries in you might get a ride as the class is twinshock and modern,, the french twinshock riders are not happy with this and are threatning a boycott,, could be lots of space yet....

reply from Germain in France.
Hi Kevin,
I heard about it last morning when I called the club, and heard about it again last night.
The club accepted few 2 stroke (3 I think). 2 of them are members of the club and there is no chance they will be quicker than many of us (1st race for one them). One is driven by a girl with an old twinshock (86 I think).
I don't know what to say:
- nobody said they wouln't come (french twinshocks crews I mean)
- I think myself it is a pitty there will be some twostroke
- I think it is also a shame if we don't accept members of the club as we owe them a ride at Belleme. The club did already a lot of effort in paying day licences
Myself, I think all of this is very strange. I don't like to see 2 strokes, and I would rather see original bikes from this period (pre85) but now, you see on bikes Rigers shocks, twin pistons on calipers. Everyone comes to Yamaha (Norton was more common before 1980), but nobody says anything...
You see many young mad riders comming because they are not able to win in modern class, and nobody says anything...
You know, in France, I would think many people don't like english riders because they are quicker.
I'm myself, 32 years old. Not very old... but I like the pre85 class. I would rather see it original. I like the Norton engine, I like my original Wasp, I like to ride with my dad. I like to come to England even if there is no chance to win a race for us. The main thing for is to find a good track with somebody to fight with... and being able to go back to work on the monday morning.
I'm going to post something on french forum. We'll see what's going on.
I will be at Belleme with my dad.
Speak to you soon.

Re: Belleme France. 21st. August
Just recieved email from Germain in france. reads as:
Hi Kevin,
I spoke to someone from the club this morning. There will be only 3 moderns with us. 2 of them are members of the club and it will be their first race. The last one is driven by a girl. This moderns will not take the start with us, but will be behind us. So it doesn't seem too bad.
It doesn't seem to be a french boycott. Maybe only one or two crews will not go to Belleme. There is a waiting list of twinshocks, so we will be quite a few there. Some riders told me they will go and I will be there for sure.

Hello, I shall not belong to Bellême 21 aout because I was excluded from the list of the committed by Mr Radiguet, this to have expressed my opinion on the presence of modern side-car in their race international side car cross in the former(ancient) (France England)
