Anybody got any ideas on who is riding the outfits in the Meatloaf video for modern girl???Bit before my time only being 21.... love you all

It would take me week's to figure out how to do that, I'm from the West Midlands cars, chocolate, and sauce thats all we can do!!!!Don't even do the cars anymore come to that

Two diff outfits, first one, side view looks like waspwasp. twinshock, second one front view looks like modern with enduro light, but whos drivin.

Yes just looked at the video on youtube and I remember Colin doing this back in the eighties, at the time I was down in the south passengering for many of the great sidecar drivers of that time. you may have heard of me , I am peter Logan of the Logan Brothers.

I remember you and Kim scrapping with the Millard bothers at Andover. Bloody hilarious for us watching.

Yes I remeber that very well. The reason for that little scrap was because Millard decided to drive up my back on a lefthander with his front wheel, ripping my shirt off and imprinting my back with his tyre nobbles. All good times when you look back on it now ! I wonder if paul or Mark remember ?

Right guys, sorry for not replying until now but only found out about this topic at Mortimer and was not previously a member of this site. The video was filmed in the old Becton Gas works in the east end of London. Philpott was there as you all say riding the smarter looking outfit. Also Colin rides the Kawasaki solo MX bike in the opening scene where he smashes up a supermarket. If you look really close he actually comes off the back of it (you can see his feet come down) before the film is edited. The other outfit is ours and also as you say was an enduro Wasp fitted with an XT500 Yamaha engine. Again for you observant ones there is a bit of footage that the editor has got back to front making the bike appear to have a RH chair. It was a great few days. Unfortunately the video pre-dated MTV and the BBC banned it. The video was filmed about 6 months before the Brighton bomb and there is a scene where a Maggie Thatcher look a like is seen on a pile of rubble (bad taste apparently).

I hope his clears up a few things
