FRENCH Meeting in Sept is GO
Thanks to the efforts of KP and our french friend Germain, the meeting at Javron on Sept 12th. is a go for any Brits wanting to ride. have posted a copy of the letter to KP below. Also have regs which i can email. Let me know if you want any. thanks.
Hi Keith,
You will find attached the entry form for Javron Les Chapelles on the 12th of September.
I spoke today to the organisers and he would please to see all of you at Javron.
Few things :
Licences : As I said before, you need AMCA licences for that meeting (I think it is possible to get day licences withe AMCA). I can not garantee you will be able to ride if you don't have AMCA licences on that day.
Entries : Must be received before the 29th of August. Entry form with your address, AMCA licence number is the only paperwork required. Entry is 12€ per side-car.
Meals : The club organises a saturday night meal (not compulsory), 15€ per person, 7€ for children. You must tell how many people will get that meal. As the food must be bought before the event, it would difficult for the club to get less or more people than excpected.
Payment : As you are foreigners, there is no need to pay before you get there (no notes by post, checks are charges a lot when they are made in pounds).
Machines : it is written pre80 side-cars. We have a 1983 side-car and never had any problem. As long as the bike is a four stroke, air cooled, twinshocks suspension. I don't think there is any problem.
I would be please to help all of you if there is any problem. I would contact the club for you.
We may have a short practice on the saturday afternoon, but not sure.
Usually, one practice in the morning, 3 races per serie, and one 4th race with all side-cars that will be there. Day ends around 18:30.
We'll be at the pre65 club at Marks Tey on the 11th of July.
My numbers are :
0033 1 48 06 59 63 (home)
0033 6 81 36 85 41 (mobile)
Best regards
Germain.
