I'm sure I watched this outfit attempt to race at Tunnel Hill, Pirbright many years ago.
I seem to remember the driver's wife was the passenger. It got stuck on a hill halfway 'round the first lap, and that's all it did all day if my memory serves!
Brave attempt at something different, but obviously more suited to pulling a plough across a field!

This reminds me of the time I passengered Gerry at the IOM TT (scramble) in 1972 up on Onchan Head. It was on his AAF Wasp, I had to kick start the bugger on the start line from beside the sidecar wheel! I think his normal passenger (Pam) was pregnant at the time.
