Charlie and myself took the Rotax wasp over to holland for there final meeting of the year at Meijel.
Where we were welcomed without any problems. As long as the engine is in a period type Wasp or EML chassis they do not have a problem with a Rotax engine in Holland at any meeting including it would appear there round of the world championship if they hold it. (to be confermed) they just want bums on seats. Laughing

Sounds like a recipe for full start lines if you ask me. Holland is always good for a fun time.

The winning outfit was a one off chassis. not sure what. also won the Dutch championship.
second place was a fuel injected, Electronic ignition, electric start Yam.
And they were all very shinny. check the pics doug.

out of 35 outfits on the line , we counted about 4 genuine pre 84 wasp/eml. (period brakes, wheels, shocks, carbs, chassis, engines )

Well from what I have been told there wont be a Dutch round then.
Because I understand that is not what the proposed Championship is about.
At least my old mate Kinge has somewhere to ride though....
