Practise courses
Hi folks,
looking at getting into this game and wondered where all you good folk go to practise legally, do some of the courses have general testing days like in road race?
I`m in the midlands so preferably not too far away.
Cheers for any assistance, Ian.

Re: Practise courses
Hi Ian,
Your best bet is to keep an eye on this forum and the Sidecarcross.com site to see when and where people are going out to play. There are practices, although not so many places cater for sidecars. Often several sidecars use the forums to arrange to go to the same place, without a larger number turning up it is often not worth track owners putting on a sidecar class when they can have a full line up of solos instead.
I am afraid I personally don't know the tracks in the midlands for practice, but there are riders about in those areas so I am sure there must be some tracks that will let you in. :-)
good luck and let us know if you find any sympathetic tracks in your neck of the woods
Cheers
Dave

Re: Practise courses
The practice track near Witney, north of Oxford accommodates sidecars. It is advertised in the back of the tmx or I can get details for you if you can't find them. Flat track with banked corners and quite alot of whoops but ok for getting out in the mud and puts a smile on your face!

Got a quarry new me that we will be allowed to use, just need a sudecar to go round and lay out the course. It`s very rough at the moment as the 4x4`s have been using it, but with some work it will be good and the owner is keen to have us there.
