Twinshock support at British IMBA.

GB IMBA - Shobdon - Support Races

The British Sidecar IMBA round is being held this year at Shobdon (near HEREFORD) on Sunday July 29th. As well as hosting the Sidecar IMBA there will also be a Modern Sidecar Support class and a Twin-Shock class. Both the Support and Twin-shock classes will be open to overseas teams as well as any ACU teams looking for an alternative ride to the Clubman Championship event held in Cornwall on the same weekend.

Camping will be available from Friday afternoon and a large marquee/bar and live entertainment has already been arranged for the Saturday. :beer:

Further information - Regs/Entries/Sponsors/etc. will be published closer to the time of the event but any teams wishing to pre-book (declare an interest in racing at Shobdon) for either class can do so by emailing the SMX Club at aledje@googlemail.com

The Club will then hold an entry for pre-booked teams and give them first refusal if the event is over-subscribed. :whistle:

Could be the nearest we get to a GP in the UK. and theres a chance of supporting it.
sounds good doug. have added date and info to twinshock calendar.

Lets make this the bigest sidecar event in the UK this year.

Just spoken to the club and its a go for twinshocks.

"Been talking to the amca about allowing the amca twinshockers to enter with their normal amca classic licence instead of having to take out a one day modern licence. They're ok about that which is good news.
If you could drum up some support i'd be grateful - try and get them to pre-register with me so that I know who's interested and to ensure that there's enough teams to run the class. I really hope so as we would like to make this an annual event

They don`t want your money yet, but need an idea of intrest.

Don`t leave it to the last minute as normal.
