Well I spent my Saturday standing in the rain???? This is Southern California and we are not supposed to get this much rain. But rain it did almost all day and very heavy at times.

We ran the AHRMA display at Anaheim 3 and I guess the display part was good.
I kind of enjoyed talking with the public about vintage racing, but I could do without the entire super cross theater. What comes to mind is phony; it was like sitting through a bad opera with a punk concert mixed in. I left after the 5th race, you knew who was going to win and it all seemed so planned. Remind me that I have no wish to watch or go to a super cross ever again. The memory of the first super bowl of motocross in LA is still fresh enough in my mind to make this crap really suck.

I will help out at the displays in the future but as soon as the public leaves for the supposed race, I’m out of there. We did have one sidecar with us a 81 EML air bagger with a Yam in it. It's in the photo but under the canopies. Later when the rain slowed down we pulled it out in front of the display, old and young alike always want to site on it. :)
