As people know who were there the day is split into 2 halves and Terry and I were in the afternoon on friday 13th sept. There were 6 sidecar "races",so all the afternoon folk had 3 x 4 lap races. Solos had hand on crash helmet starts and sidecars had the passenger running on to the platform-trying to get there before their driver went without them which did happen a couple of time. Am pleased to say I didn't fall over or get left behind but did get good at "creeping" to the bike though we were letting the other 3 outfits "go" as we were taking it carefull to see how my back stood up to it (was ok,bit sorerer than usual) I did well and got the results of all 6 races on the friday.

Thanks for the report Olive, always good to read up on how everyone got on.
Just to clarify Terry's passengers, I unfortunately broke my collarbone falling off a speedway bike a couple of weeks before Goodwood, it was Peter Snell with Terry on Friday who broke his leg.
My collarbone has been plated, and is healing well. Best wishes to Pete, I hope he has a speedy recovery.
