Mixed meeting dec 12th Yarley

Post  sidekick39ish on Tue Nov 23, 2010 8:57 pm

copyed from other sidecar site. yarley is just outside Wells in somerset.
For those of you wishing to enter:

Have a look at the site http://www.gravitylc.co.uk. It is a quad club but Steve Day (the man in charge) will run 3 (poss 4) 15 +1 races for sidecars. Only one class so twinshocks/moderns all in together. We should support this as he is keen to run sidecar meetings in the future.

Note: If you have an ACU/AMCA licence you don't need to buy one of theirs.

How to enter: Go to the site, fill in the entry form, stick it in your van. E'mail Steve on gravitylc@btinternet.com telling him your name, bike, race number and promising to come! Turn up on the day with your entry form and entry fee (probably £47, but not more than £50).

He's not greedy, he'll run with 12 outfits. Me and Mr P are riding, so that's the top two places sorted

Timings to follow.

See you there

Ian

Hi All

we can't make the meeting but I have checked out the entry and emailed the guy. Every team will need a fire extinguisher! dry powder i think but check on the website. Apparently if you dont have one they wont let you race.

Good luck to all twinshocks that enter...

Does anyone know what the track is like...both chivers teams are interested but not will not consider going if the track is to challenging for the old wasp. As this was the case at the practice meeting a few weekends ago.

Ross its just a simply lack of experience mate. And you lack the strength of older gentlemen to tame the beast, that is a big yam. It will come in time ray, the sleepless nights will stop soon

This sounds like it could be good and Yarley is a good track.

Have you got a passenger lined up ross?
