NORTH DEVON CLASSIC MCC. 2011

The North Devon classic MCC. are looking to include twinshock chairs at there 7th. August meeting in 2011. Sloley Park, Berrynarbor, Combe Martin, What are your thoughts, Will you support this club and venue. I`m ringing the chairman shortly to chat about the track and their plans to include sidecars.

School Holidays so don't have to worry about getting the kids back on Sunday night... Weekend in Devon, hopefully with Sunshine... Sounds promising, might even persuade the good lady to let me come and play... what's the track like? Is there camping allowed?

Its a great track, a lovely big hill if they use all the track. Plenty of parking.

Great veiws overlooking Coombe Martin as well

They held the Classic Des Nations there in 2006.
Will be a great weekend if the sun shines.

Have spoken to the chairman Graham. It all sounds good.
The track is grassland, hills, wide, flowing, about 1 mile long. no manmade jumps. On the North Devon Coast.
AMCA. three races of 4 laps. max of 20 on line. Open to all pre 85 twinshock sidecars.
Free camping from saturday. Camping prier to this available at £5-00 per night . Also sunday night.
Bar and music saturday night.
Regs available early 2011. will post here as and when. Get your entry in early to avoid disappointment.

Sorry neil, can`t take the credit, i was approched by the club chairman.
And as for 12 laps, Some crews will be traveling all the way to klienhau to do that without moaning.

And I directed the club chairman to Kev at the Telford show. This Twinshocking is a communal affair !
And well said young Kev - 12 high quality laps and practice is a lot better than staying at home. I shall be there, snuggled together with Adam, telling me of his heroic deeds clearing the drainpipes and bogs of Worcester whilst thumbing his favourite jazz mags. Heaven.
And, by the way Gilo, you still owe me a pint
