Well done boys and girls

Post  Twinshock 10 on Tue Jun 01, 2010 1:22 pm

A big thank you and well done to all the folks at the Three Counties Classic Club who held their second event this weekend at Berrow in Worcestershire.
From the friendly landowner to the marshalls and track workers, everyone helped put on a great show.
With 9 classes it was a busy day that went smoothly.
The track was probably the best that could be done with a large rolling stubble field area and of course Lord Harker having become familiar with every bump and turn, won the day with a 2nd and two firsts. His side-monkey Matt dazzled the crowd with his acrobatic cornering antics - surely a star in the making. Another shining performance came from the pairing of Paul Morris and Mark Snell, who may have taken first prize if it hadn't been for a DNF in the 2nd race due to a fouled spark plug.
Biggest disappointment of the day for the hundreds of fans that lined the circuit was the decision of the local council to limit the use of the PA system, denying them the informed and articulate wit and commentary from Adam (41 today) Longmore. He did however treat them to a spectacular display of sidecar-cross riding by starting dead last and then working his way to,er..dead last.

So, thanks again to all concerned at Three Counties-keep up the good work.

Glad to see the 2nd of the 3 counties event go well. Thanks to all who put in the work to make it happen.
I personally wont miss the speed bumps as it will give us a better chance of staying up right next time!
How ever, good effort on trying to manage the dust as best a possible. Cheers.

James
